Germany Invaded! :The Spread of Idiocy
Germany has a huge problem. A pest problem.
Here is a nice lie from a typical creationist:
'It's a well-known fact that scientists are abandoning evolution,'' he says. ''Creationism is like a cross to a vampire for evolutionists. Empirical scientists have already abandoned this theory and ... in a few years, it won't be in the science books anymore.''
Ugh.
But, alas, there is some light in Germany:
''That's a misunderstanding of science. People think that science is the same kind of knowledge as religious knowledge. It's not.''
Science, he says, depends on evidence and constantly tests its theories against new findings. Theories are challenged and thrown out if they don't stand up to scrutiny. Creationism, by contrast, is pure faith."
Read that again: "Theories are challenged and thrown out if they don't stand up to scrutiny. Creationism, by contrast, is pure faith."

Only Religion Can Save Humanity!!!
An op-ed piece from The Daily 49er (the definitive source for Cal State Long Beach News)by Becky Yeh slanders evolution and insults freethinkers everywhere.
"Evolution stems from naturalism and claims the origin of life occurred by random chance, and that mankind evolved from other species," writes Yeh, oblivious that evolution stems from evidence and ignorant to repeat the Ray Comfort lie that evolution occurred by "random chance."
"By neglecting a creator, life has no purpose and one will do what is ethically and morally right in their eyes. There is no governing set of rules to tell humans what is right or wrong." Has that occurred in Sweden, a highly non-believing country? Yeh's "governing set of rules" are,we presume, the Christian Bible. How dare she insult us by insinuating that the Bible somehow has steered humanity on a ethical course! Morality and ethics have changed throughout the journey of mankind; the Bible has, and will, remain static. To postulate that the Bible ensures moral, good behavior makes as much sense as saying that Hansel and Gretel compel us all to carry bread crumbs into the forest.
"[O]ne should consider that the effect of the theory of evolution on man’s worldview is bleak." Fey is either ignorant or purposely omitting the rapturous way in which the Earth is consumed by fire as written in the Book of Revelations. Bleak indeed.

Volcano Erupts in Alaska, Bobby Jindal Soils His Panties
Creationist Piyush "Bobby" Jindal awoke this morning to news of Mt. Redoubt's eruption in Alaska.
One wonders how the exorcist and part time governor of Louisiana reacted to the news. It wasn't that long ago that this godly man was touting the evils of volcano monitoring.
This is the problem when wacky creationists gain political power- dumb things happen. Jindal may try to sacrifice a Palin child to satisfy his god.

Eric Hovind Hurts His Brain Trying to Explain Absolute Truth
Eric Hovind and two of his tool friends are brainwashed beyond the realm of funniness. Yet, oddly enough, I still find them extremely entertaining. Eric loves the Ray Comfort bible which will "teach you how to evangelize the same way jesus christ did." Jesus Christ the mangod knew Kirk Cameron and bothered every human being he came across?
